Bernard (Doc) Reginald Street, April 12, 1936 – May 30, 2017.
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Bernard (Doc) at the age of 81 after a long struggle with Renal disease and MDS. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, at Laurel Place, Surrey, BC. Doc was born in Radway, Alberta to William Jay Street and Elizabeth Street (Palmer).
He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, June Pearl Street (Duncton); children: Kevin (Maria), Valerie (Brian), Paul (Deceased), Linda (Dale), Leon, Lyle; brother Peter; 11 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He will be remembered always for his loving devotion to his wife, family and to God. He is at peace now and has made it home to heaven, where he continues to watch over us. We would like to thank his extended family at the Panorama Renal Dialysis Unit for their exceptional care and friendship, the Fraser Health Care Nurses for their support and comfort, the staff at Langley Gardens for their tireless assistance as well as the staff at Laurel Place for their kindness and support during his final days.
The Catholic Service will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Church, 20675 87th Avenue, Langley, BC, followed by reception in the church hall. In lieu of flowers we greatly encourage blood/platelet donations to the Canadian Blood Clinic, or donations to the Laurel Place Hospice or BC Kidney Foundation.
